    Love the colour and especially the shine! The upholstery is absolutely perfect...

    A couple of tiny differences between you and I is that I'd chrome the grille and loose the scoop.
     
  25. So, are we to presume that you painted it yourself? Looks good if you did. If you didn't how will you ever learn? Never the less it looks great.

    I had a 48 Fastback..........it went down the road with a 55 Dodge pickup when the wife wanted to move to town. I should have let her move to town and stayed where I was:( Your car finished nicely!!!

    I love the post war stuff up to 1958. I like the pre war cars but, I'm too big for those. :(

    Hey Joe
    I know this is a long shot...but for the last 10 years I've been trying to track down my old '48 Chevy Coupe that I built in the early '70s. It was my first Hot Rod, and as of about 7 years ago, it had ended up in the Scranton /Wilkes Barre area. I'll PM you later today.

    By the way, your '47 came out absolutely beautiful !!!
