Day two of the Nats South was really good, perfect weather sweat shirts in the morning and T shirts in the after noon. As predicted the number of spectators and participants was an increase over yesterday. Even though the number of cars was way down I thought the quality of the cars that did come was outstanding. 20201003_120503.jpg 20201003_092705.jpg 20201003_102154.jpg 20201003_102802.jpg 20201003_113205.jpg 20201003_105140.jpg 20201003_121642.jpg 20201003_121542.jpg 20201003_112443.jpg 20201003_123447.jpg 20201003_120827.jpg 20201003_093233.jpg 20201002_115823.jpg 20201003_102953.jpg 20201003_113517.jpg 20201003_114731.jpg

I did Knoxville in 1990 and again in 1995 when we were over visiting and had a ball.

  13. Great cars, Gary. It was good to visit with you.

This little cupcake was in the swap area Saturday. Didn't see anybody with it nor any info on it. Heard that it was offered at $38K.

Good to see you also Bill, regarding the survivor deuce 5 window, I did not see it, but I was told by a friend who talked to the person that brought it and it supposedly was built and owned by his father and was asking 60K. it definitely looks like its been neglected for quite a while. Unless it has important history I think 38 is overvalued.

  21. Well my 40 made it back home as far as the Dandridge exit.
I had put on a new 97 Saturday, when the 94 started hanging up the throttle plates when coming off idle. Lurching forward in Pigeon Forge traffic is not fun.
    New 97 ran like a champ !!
We pulled off at Dandrige to eat lunch and it would not start.
    Fuel pump..
Of course I had a NIB spare in the trunk so I put it on in the Perkins parking lot. It was Junk also!
Had to take my wife's truck home and pick up the trailer, which was loaded with a 40 frame!
Got home at 10:30, dragging ass.
    Aren't old cars fun......?

  22. I had planned to post a thread about the event and post a lot of photo's of Hamb appropriate cars & trucks, but apparently I pulled off as bonehead stunt and deleted or lost all the photo's and as we a;; have been known to say. " If there are no photo's it didn't happen"

I did get to talk to several Hambers.

Hopefully, someone got photo's of our fellow member Mark (vert40) Mercury convertible and his girl friend Randy's modal A coupe. both of their cars won a award.

I also got to see Bill's newest acquisition ( 1940 Ford coupe) sorry to hear he had a problem on hid way home. HRP

Danny sorry to hear you lost your pictures, there is an app that can recover them (Photo Recovery Pro)a few years back while we were on vacation in the western states my wife accidently erased about 300 photos and of course was absolutely devastated. She used that app I think it cost about $20 and all the photos were recovered in a few minutes. If you've got more than a few photos saving the memories are worth it.
