Great article on the RPU with what appears to be nothing outrageous just well put together.
In the shot of the engine, did I detect an electric fan above the water pump? Very non traditional or just innovative for its time.

I was pondering that too... It almost looks like it's some sort of weird dual fan set up with tiny aluminum blade units...

Now that you mention it... I remember that roadster being on the R&C cover as well...

Very cool! Doesn’t look like he sits up out of it more than what’s standard in these tiny cars most the time.

Gas pedal angle looks a bit uncomfortable.

  10. This car brings to mind one of my all time favorite "Buckets". Arnold Avilla's '29 A bucket. Arnold and his dad built it in their Baldwin Park garage, and it was a bad ass street racer. On any given Friday night you could see this car cruising around Baldwin Park, or West Covina, looking for anything to race.

  14. Ryan, there is a thread about Arnold's Roadster here on the HAMB.

29 Roadster pick up from Nor Cal is the title.

I like them RPU's especially if they have a hemi in them, I know these don't have hemi's but me being a MoPar guy it just is what it is. The electric fans caught me off guard though.
