Well I have watched that video about 100 times! That thing rips!! Looks like it goes pretty straight and you know how to drive it that’s for sure! Nice job...

goes like stink! great job...aside from the guys who weld together scraps this was one of the more hammered bodies I've seen here...must've had some history too with the chop, tunneled taillights, filled cowl, dash, remnants of yellow paint and all those lapped over patches...wonder what its former life was?

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I managed to win my first race in Ohio a couple weeks ago 81DB2BD2-A209-4044-A966-3ABDF7447F1A.jpeg 2E07CEB9-A2CD-44DE-AD2F-2081C643A301.jpeg C5045D96-30BE-43D2-8D97-FF5909733F67.jpeg

They look good now, and thats how we're use to seeing them these days, but I vote for polish since its nt my labor........will really set off the car

The labor to polish them the first time wont be bad, all 4 were polished at some point in life, so all of the rough casting marks have already been sanded off. Keeping them polished will be a total bitch

Gabe, Even though it's none of my business, I would vote for leaving the new wheels unpolished. They make you car look really mean just the way they are.

Managed to double up on the wins, bringing home the Knoxville race last weekend 5F79A180-BEF0-4A66-9EC2-B2EA376614F3.jpeg 072F983C-5BE0-4913-A38F-AE0E0FA6CC72.png 9BC6C5DC-D53B-4882-9580-7E084E20E5F5.png

Congrats on the wins. That was some driving in the Knoxville finals.

Did Kaase make any major changes to your engine or did he just tweak it a bit?

No, re-used all of our stuff, just tweaked here and there

I'm familiar as to how big of a pain mag is to keep polished, but if the look is worth it, then so be it

I love your Model A, but you already know that from Facebook. So happy for your new-found-power and 2 Wins in A/Gas is awesome. As to your new wheels, I love them the way they are, will not give you any reflective issues at the starting line. You can always make them shiny when you want. One more thing, you and Katy make a great team.
    I'm always rooting for ya,

It is hard enough to compete at that level, but to put together back to back wins is an even bigger accomplishment.

    Congratulations, -Abone.

Spend time making it go fast, polishing the wheels won’t help that IMHO! Congrats on the back to back wins, it is a real accomplishment knowing the level of competition you face in your class! Keep on keeping on!

Suffered a massive clutch explosion right at the 1/8 mile mark first race of this season during qualifying. We were able to piece it back together with some scrounged up parts to make the race. The bellhousing did its job and contained most of everything D24DA521-F173-40AA-9ACB-00457246D1F6.jpeg FC7002BF-0DCC-47C8-973D-B74F929F2EB5.jpeg
Indexing the new (old) lakewood bell after I got home and sifted through the damage AD074448-381F-4A1B-9DD5-017A6817CBBF.jpeg 67AEED30-DFAF-4F9E-B10B-56236B5B13E2.jpeg new ram clutch ready to go in. It has upgraded “pins” that the pressure ring floats on in an attempt to prevent future explosions originating from the pressure ring being unsupported and having to drive the car off of just the 3 fingers.
