Now that is running, I named this 55 chevy SCAR TISSUE because it has been totaled twice, and for it's third time at life it needed to built gasser style. 454 m21 4 speed, 31 spline 9 inch with 379 gears nodular case. estremely fun, and the 12 inch hoosier street tires give it up easy in second gear.
. I believe these are from an old super Chevy Article. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

The wagon the show "crushed" was actually just a regular 2 door wagon, and not a Nomad, although they tried to make it look like one, and the segment was fairly short so most did't notice it Shame they did it just the same. That hood on the 55, Model 150 is something I have't seen before; a lot of work for a scoop. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
From what I understand it was also in really bad condition, full of Bondo with quick paint for the one shot and stripped of any decent parts before the Beam drop. Tim said they received alot of hate mail over that segment and as stated above confirmed they didn't kill a real Nomad. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Went & grabbed this old gasser. After a lot of clean up it’s better than expected. Trying to find out history on it was located in Wichita. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I think the owner liked Pepsi! Neat looking car! It would be fun to see how that paint cleans up! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Welp, this is why I lettered the car in vinyl. Decided to remove it all and go back to a cleaner look. Also snagged some jewelry for the engine bay. Yes I know the linkage is assembled wrong, I've since fixed it. Not on the car yet, it's running too well on the single 750 for me to pull it. This setup will end up on it eventually.
Here is my first bosses ‘55 straight axle, blown small block tri-five. I drove it many times and even took it on a few dates. Ended up w mini tubs, narrowed 12-bolt, power windows and even air conditioning (yes, you read that right). He was a pure genius and a true master. I was lucky to have worked for him for almost 7 years. Many knew the car and the owner and about the only races we could get were bikes. Sure wish I could have bought it when he let it go after 30 years of owning it. Regards, Randy Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
