V8 sat outside all its life so I wouldn't expect much with the engine . It was missing the coil and air cleaner, one door molding and one rear molding.

There are a wide variety of cars down here. A lot of Model A and Model Ts. Along with god knows what else. I did find an almost perfect Hudson hub cap which I kept. Since I have a Hudson for it to live on.

if it was a coupe, the whole trunk wouldn't fit in the picture frame!

I wonder if that damage to the corner of the shop was caused by a car crashing in or crashing out.

That's a Karry Kean trunk, kind of hard to find, but not as hard as the year, make and model specific parts that mount it to the car. Notice the cut out under the spare tire carrier, that is where the tire goes when its tipped down to allow the trunk to fold open so you could carry bigger loads. I have the same trunk on my '33, I have hauled a lawn mower in it before!

That pic was taken while a friend was storing it at my place. Another friend bought it and here is a pick I took last week. Adjustments.JPG IMG_1848.JPG

The car was set up for a big block. Olds rear end, covair steering, orange tint Plexiglass windows, Had 9.70 on the rear quarter window. Looks like it was a bel Air that was painted dark metallic green. Southern California car I believe. I’ll see if I can get some more detailed pic later this week.

Cool/ interesting 1952 Canadian Chevy truck. I can't quite read the model number on the hood but I think it's 1430, which would make it a 1-ton 137" wheelbase. What caught my eye was the single-style front wheel with hubcap and the dual rear wheels. Wouldn't have left the factory that way, so I think some mods were made along the way. Might have started out as a 1-ton 9' bed pickup and some one replaced the rear axle with a dually and changed the bed... Whatever, it's a cool old truck with some unknown history. Too bad that's not here in Eastern Tennessee...

    Edit: it’s probably a 1951. Anyway, I like it.
