Art & Inspiration TorqThrusts AND Scallops?!?!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by brett4christ, Sep 14, 2020.

  1. I would love to get your thoughts and/or see your photos of HAMB-friendly cars and trucks sporting BOTH TorqThrusts AND scallops!

    Do they go together?

Do scallops only work with full wheel covers or chrome reverses?

Let's see what you can dig up off the ol' hard drives!

    Possible...

My point being Chrome 5 spokes and scallops.... Kind of a Bellflower thing.

If your wallet can handle it, ETs are the best...

  7. Brett, it seems most of the cars that have scallops usually run painted steel wheels, maybe you can start a trend! HRP

The two most important things on a car (outside of body style) is A) stance B) wheels. You can have a rusty pile , but if the stance and wheels are right it can br cool. Then if you have the gold , the right painter, and pick the right color, then hope you planned the style right . As for scallops there style varies as much as wheel style. And the first scallops that I believe I saw had hubcaps, every wheel style came later

They're not Torque-Thrust, but they are scallops. Sloan10.jpg

Scallops and flames are the same they go in and out of style every ten years , Torque thrust aside from the 80's have always been in style. The right wheels, stance and paint combination will always be in style!
