never thought of the falcon as being boring. At least it doesn't look like that thing

It's interesting. And the styling might be fixable.

A Falcon Ranchero might make a good-looking hatchbook. I might try, if I get to my aerodynamic '61 Ranchero project.

I see the 64-5 square-body Falcon resemblance.

 

Obviously the engine should go in back.

 

Ghia did lots of weird stuff in the '60s. Detroit would occasionally reach out to them for different 'takes' on current production cars, but sometimes Ghia would go out on their own to generate publicity for the shop. Their best designs were usually collaborations between them and whoever contracted them, their fully in-house designs not so much IMO.

 

Haha, I thought the emblem said "Clam" not Clan. Not an improvement!

 

The back looks like a snowboarding slope with railings.

 

Because it is a 64 Falcon, customised by Dean Jeffries in the early 60s and known as the Python. One of the best looking cars ever in my opinion.

 

Ford did that with a boss 429... Look it up...

The second picture is appealing. Those were sectioned.

 

I like it, but maybe the face should've been left stock or done differently. It reminds me of a Celica.
