    rearend is done...
What do you mean by done? Restored original? Is it a Dana 41 or 44? A later 9" or something else?

Keep this in mind, any rear axle will look like it fits without the bed and fenders.

    Does it have doors?
    $0 to $1500.

A lot depends on what are your plans? Does it run and have a clear title? Decent beds and fenders will require some searching to find, IMO.

Worth is whatever you and the seller agree to on a purchase price - you complete the transaction at that very moment.
That is what it is worth.

  7. Matt, post a couple of photo's and we will be able to help you on a price. HRP

You want us to price it based on a super vague description? Really?
Put yourself in our shoes. Would you buy something sight unseen based on your 3 sentences?

$500 if it's solid. Any significant rust holes, dents or bullet holes, $250.

I think the best advice , that I could give is buy a complete truck . Unless the price is cheap , you are going to spend a lot of time and money getting the rest unless you are extremely lucky .

Listen to 41rodderz, by the time you round up all the parts you need to finish the thing you probably could have bought a decent, running truck and saved a big bunch of money, time and work. Been there and done that, won't do it again!

I wouldn’t build it. The guy wants 5K for his basket of parts but it has a really low milage, running and immaculate RT flathead that I would normally pay 1500 for. Trying to decide if I could move the cab and parts for anywhere near the 3500.00 spread.

41, could not agree more. Bed, fenders are a 3500.00 proposition.

If it was your grandpa`s truck. does it matter. If you are going to flip it. Then you should know already. If you are going to build it, do you have the money. Overpaying is done everyday. Waiting to pull the trigger on something you want for a really good deal can take a long while. People said I overpaid for a deck lid for my current project. Drove 5 hours one way to get it. But it was the best one and the only one I found for sale in 2 years.

  21. Yes, with a title. $10, no title and and no pictures.

One question answered in 18 posts. Still no pictures so $13.29. I'll raise that to $15. No pictures and because I will have to haul it from wherever it is and current shipping charges have been discussed in another thread already.

I would say you need to check that flathead out thoroughly ( compression , wear, cracks, etc) since it is the engine you are after. Then decide how much that engine is worth max value , because you cannot be sure how much you will get when you find the buyer. Offer to buy just the engine .

You didn't say it came with an engine. You said it was a cab and chassis. If you believe the engine is worth $1500 you can add that to the $500.

  27. The frame and rear appear to be stock, and in good condition,

If it's all there, complete cab and you alluded to the absence if the fenders and bed, I would think 1,500 would be fair, seeing the receipts for everything done to the engine you can add another 1,000 to the price. HRP

    Thanks HRP,
going to do the deal for 4K. Looks like solid doors are fetching 800.00 a pair, cab and frame at 1500.00. Hood at 400.00. Balance of parts worth 300-600. Will have 1000 in a 40K mile, clean and running RT which is worth it to me.
