That's why you use the quote function instead of the stupid ^^^. Even if the poster deletes his post it stays in the quoted post so your post still has meaning.
I gave up hoping people would understand how to 'quote' properly. One of my biggest pet peeves! Or people who post a question, ten guys respond with answers, no one quotes the original post, and then OP edits his post to "solved, thanks!". Used to see that more, not so much any more.
The way I look at it, we're lucky we can deal with this stuff at all, most of us here are still in a points and carburetor type of world. I got two cars that are still 6V and I like it like that.
Part of the problem with improper use of quotes can be attributed to the app. It defaults, on my phone at least, to having the cursor inside the quote box even though it doesn't look like it is. Sent from my SM-G950W using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

That’s funny! Unfortunately It actually took me a while to figure out the controls on my SUV. More buttons and features than they had on the space shuttle.
