I like most vintage trucks with the right stance, my '51Ford is my personal favorite

 

I have always loved any Ford pickup and have owned a bunch of them. I am also partial to '47-'54 Chevys and GMCs, '33-35 Dodge (have one for sale!), '37-'38 Plymouth, and some early Studebakers and Internationals. Here is my latest.

 

1935-36 Ford, hands down.

1936 Ford Super Deluxe pickup... they didn't make many!

 

IMO, A '57 Chevy Big Window, Napco 4X4 conversion. That would be the Cat's Ass in my book.

So does this "Super Deluxe" come factory with '36 Car sheet metal or was it added later? I've not seen this before. I like it!

I have seen a '37 Chevy PU with a car front end on it, over in Padukah, KY years ago. It was white and turquoise with flames. Beautiful truck...

Definitely not a Willys pickup there’s no room in them.

This ticks all the boxes for me favourite cab design and favourite nose I would love to own that. Super cool truck

The 60-1 Ranchero is high on the list.

 

35, 36, 37 Ford's are my favorite. This one is a killer.

 

Love my 39 ford but 2 that I really like 40 ford and all the Chevy Cameo's.

 

I've had a soft spot for 55 GMC's since I had one in the 70's. Never see one anymore though.

 

I would also have to throw in Johnny Rotten's 37 Pickup

 

The Hudson is about the ugliest truck ever built in my opinion.

 

While it is not a truck I would want it reminds me of the styles of the El Camino, part car part truck, I prefer something that looks like a truck. HRP

 

those Hudsons are really nice trucks. I maintain a 3/4 ton version in the collection. no other truck of the era is as advanced. it rides and shifts nice and has a bunch of unique features.

There were a few Hudson pickups in this empty lot next to a business in Chico, California in the early 90s. Before that, there was a 4-door Hudson Hornet (nobody else liked it) at a nearby apartment complex in Southern California. And I saw a beautiful restored (maroon with chrome grille) Advance Design Chevy Suburban drive by. I remember being behind a restored black 60-1 Comet in Sacramento. Those were all cars I'd never seen before and I thought they were cool. That's the way I discovered old cars, before the internet.

I wanted a 1/2-ton AD panel, but found a '48 5-window pickup (in a newspaper ad- no pictures), when I was young. I had a '61 Comet. I haven't had a Hudson, and I don't think I'll try much to get one. But, you never know.

 

The 1965 Ford F100. Though many may not admit it, this is the definitive "truck" of the last half of the 20th Century.
This same basic platform was produced through 1996.

It is the post war pickup.

 

The category is Art & Inspiration. Although it isn't in the title (maybe I should've titled the thread "What is the best-looking pickup truck design?," this statement was made in the first post:

That is a good-looking pickup. Is the split front bumper stock? That seems strange for a pickup. What about the artillery wheels?

 

In two tone Custom Cab trim, '64-'66 SWBs are right up there. #1 in the 1960s, no doubt.

#1 in the 1950s has to be the Task Force Cameos.

#1 in the 1940s has to be 1940-41 Ford.

#1 in the 1930s, the 1936 Chevrolet

#1 in the 1920s the 1926 Model T
