Got up at lazy o'clock this morning and made 100 mile trek south to someplace just the other side of the sticks. Met up with old and new faces, saw some old cars go fast and enjoyed some nice weather.
Wow a 200 mile day...that's an adventure and the destination certainly offered quite the Hambfest... Thanks for sharing @Paul, the journey and the little plane guided the way...the strip rip surely got its little prop spinning... Either you're cleaning your windshield or there weren't many bugs...I was out yesterday and was plastered with flying ants...some made it inside on the Missus and that didn't go over well... Glad you had fun and putting the pedal to the metal is always a bonus...
Cool, I had no idea that that was going on today. I'd have made a run over the pass if I had. Great photos, thanks for sharing and it looks like everyone had plenty of elbow room this year. My last years photos with a lot of the same cars making a pass or several passes. https://robertdavison.smugmug.com/2019-Billetproof-Eruption-drags/
Very cool pics. Paul , did you fab up that bracket for the mirror? I need something like that for my roadster.
Paul, good to see you today ! Do you have any info on the 27 roadster with the 215 Buick ? That ran extremely well, I have one of those in my future. BTW, Rocky put on his usually great performance !
