Hey Enloe, Watched most of your videos. nice stuff, but not seeing much of your racing. Not a dig, but I am more a do it myself kid of guy. Racing is expensive, lots of work, and lots of experience and learning the hard way. I have no problems with those how do not.
I hope to move South soon? And will not have pit crew, So maybe we can team up for some fun like this....

The only reason that I don’t race my car is that it is the last thing my father gave me. If I stuffed it into the wall I would be heartbroken. After I am done paying for my kids college I”if I live long enough” I would love to have another one to play with.
I have had fun at the strip with some Chevelles and Camaros.
Right now college is the priority.

I was lucky enough to win the stick shift class at the hot rod national last weekend at woodburn drag strip.

Not lucky, skill my friend. I know you have won other events in the stick shift class competition.

I feel your pain, went through all that 30 years ago. Plus paid for all their weddings and helped with down payments on their first houses. I wanted to give each of them a good head start in life. When the last one moved out, it was like we won the lottery. Jim

I never noticed the custom touch to the grill before that shot. Nice look.

In the spirit of Moriarity and his parking portraits, I attended the Dream Cruise yesterday with the red Vette and secured a great spot at ground zero for the cruise. Duggans is a great place to eat and enjoy the cruise. The local panty waisters tried to cancel the Dream Cruise as if the local governments mean anything to cars guys and girls. In spite of the cancellation there was a pretty good crowd, lots of great cars IMG_0549.jpg and the wife and I and friends had a great time and a lot of laughs.

JP no choice on the hole in the hood if I want to close the hood. When I put the big block in it and put on the old school manifold, I discovered the hood would not close as it was. So out came the hole saw.. I like it actually. I get to see the engine rockin which is not all bad. A decent picture of it sticking out is this calendar shot and then including a picture of when I was working on the car in 2012. Then there is a picture of it overhead. The overhead shot was when I had it down at Autorama in 2013. The Ramchargers display was kind of kiddie corner to my setup and they told me that Autorama set up to take an over head shot during the late hours . The lady who I believe was kind of a communications person with the Ramchargers got me a copy-kind of a cool shot IMO.

  23. I love the fact that you have a hole in an early vette hood! I’ll bet it’s fun to watch it shake.

There was a time when cutting on a Corvette was no big deal and Jim SAYS he gave in to the fact that the hole needed to be cut.............
I'm betting his hand was shaking when he picked up that saw.

Buckshot or a clone appears to have retained it's historic significance and the public get to see it as well.

Mr. Dillon, You, Sir have an absolutely beautiful car there. I have been in awe with it since the first time I saw it. Everything about that car is perfect! Especially the color! If you don't mind me asking, what is the name of that color? It has to be the the most perfect shade of red I have ever seen!
