I never thought I would seek out a 4 door but I recently bought a 1953 Customline 4 door. I've had several Model As and loved the cars but became increasingly nervous about the safety of my young son riding with me. While looking for info on the Customline I ran across your thread and I'm glad I did. I read the whole thing and it is very inspiring. Who makes an aluminum radiator for a 6 cylinder '54? I've never seen on for sale before. Did you make the upholstery for the door panels? In the pics above they are sitting in the back seat. But no mention of the making of them.
For years in my 1952-59 Ford Group guys will use the Mustang radiator like this that has the lower hose on the passenger side like the 1967-69 289's used. You will need a different upper hose also this radiator has been used with 302 swaps using the early pre 1970 Mustang short water pump for clearance. LOL! You mean people actually put Chevy engines in our Fords ? Nice to know this is now an option instead of the early Mustang unit.
