Didn't have any time to work on it this past week, but it does give me something to look at during the day. Deuce Rdstr 5 29 20 bw.jpg

Had the front end aligned last week. Everything checked out good, chassis and all four wheels were nice and square, and with 7 1/2 degrees positive caster, it will go straight as an arrow. Took it for a short ride to the gas station yesterday, and rides and drives great. 20200605_173249.jpg 20200606_113209.jpg 20200606_113214.jpg

Getting real close to getting some color on this finally. Still have to sand out the trunk lid, hood (tops and side panels) and dash. Once those are done, off to the spray booth. 20200704_142546.jpg 20200713_173147.jpg 20200713_174215.jpg 20200712_182354.jpg

Due to this virus pandemic, there's been very little cruising this whole summer. Everything out here has been canceled or postponed until 2021. I would like to take this to Burlington VT to Nats Northeast in September. Finger's crossed that it's still going to go on.

Block sanding all the pieces out for the final time. All that's left now is the hood sides, grille shell and dash. Little bit closer every week. 20200718_102503.jpg 20200718_102417.jpg 20200718_132307.jpg 20200718_153139.jpg

Got the Rdstr int the body shop today. Spent seven hours masking it (did the underside on my lift last night), cleaning it three or 4 times with Prep-sol and then Jay laid down a couple coats of epoxy to seal it. Mike will base it tomorrow, Jay will give it once over on Tuesday morning , and Mike will do the final paint work and clear it. Nice to be at this stage of the game. Lot of time getting it to this point, but well worth the extra effort. And a huge thank you to Jay Herbster for his guidance and help on getting this car "paint ready". 20200802_082224.jpg 20200802_111058.jpg 20200802_125858.jpg 20200802_142224.jpg 20200802_142231.jpg Screenshot_20200802-092833_Gallery.jpg

Not sure yet. Not too concerned about getting it done now. Have it done this fall. Have the material already, and the pattern picked out.

Installed the windshield, dash and instrument panel today. Great to be at this stage of the build. 20200809_162458.jpg 20200809_162651.jpg

Jay Herbster did a great job on the cowl. The windshield fits the cowl perfect. No easy task (and not for the faint of heart ...lol).
