Been trying to find a live stream not on Facebook.

 

It will play all week in the shop. Not much work will get done, but then not much gets done these days anyway.

It will be interesting to see how fast the Speed Demon goes. That will be a good indication of the track conditions.

 

Thanks for getting the site for the live feed. I just leave it running in my office for my entertainment.

 

Speed Demon with the big engine in AA/BFS ran 411MPH against the Burkland record of 417.

 

I forgot, thank you Marty. Also, I think Poteet exit speed on that run was 421.

 

Poteet 447 ! 455 out the back door.

 

How many passes over 400 does that make?

From landracing.com forum regarding SD/Poteet run.......
Oil fire during the run, they are not going to impound.
Danny Burrows posted that the 715 car hurt #4 hole at about the 3 1/2, so that 447 mile/455 back door was on 7 cylinders and a light tuneup. Danny says that they now feel that'll be a 480-490 mph motor - next time. For now they're putting in the A motor for tomorrow.

If they are going that fast on Saturday, that means the salt is pretty good. Higher speeds during the week?

Cool, I flat forgot about it today and was busy outside most of the day.

 

That's disappointing on the AA engine, but that crew knows how to change them for sure.

 

I had to remember that since each day's feed is it's own you have to go back to the SCTA page and click on live streaming to get the new day's feed every day.

his car is in impound and we'll see if he can back it up tomorrow.

Nothing on it from this year. I'm not there...dadgummit. He wasn't going but when he found out the salt was good...
Had a blown head gasket from last year that he didn't know. Got it changed and ran today.

I listened yesterday and today. Lots of records surpassed, at least qualified and impounded. new course 1 for tomorrow.

185 Saturday.

 

Only 18 qualifying on Saturday and 4 were in open record classes. Actually that’s not a lot. We shall see in the morning on the SCTA-BNI.Org website on how many set new records and how many qualified today.
For the last few years they have been a day or 2 behind but with a lot fewer entries they may keep up. When I was listening Saturday afternoon the was no one in line on either course and Slim was trying the best he could to give information.

 

I just got off of the phone with my friend Pete McCleod who is there at Bonneville, he says the salt is in decent shape, but a lot of the cars that usually are there, are not this year.

 

Good for Those participating....the other, Easily Understandable...AND Justafiable...
