Since there’s no shows, I’ve been fixing all the little things on my car. Like ditching the GM alternator in favor of a 12v generator

I wanted to get a picture with the soon to be demolished Princeton University Observatory. It was built in 1932. This was as close as I could get. You'd think with all the self appointed geniuses over there, someone could have figured out a way to re-purpose that cool old building. IMG_5627.jpg

I'm intrigued by this picture. Chromed Mopar wheels?

  11. I think someone on FB said that they were taken from a photo of a Porche.

This 40 was discussed at length a few years ago. I had posted the HR mag article asking if anyone had info. Almost at the same time by coincidence, the current owner posted about it. It exists in the very same condition as in the article in the 60’s. In fact the current owner, who inherited it from his Dad, is building a 40 pickup with the GMC six. Wish I could recall his name. Owns a fab shop.

Mark - you know that you are required to identify the gastronomic event for which you drove to Scotty B's for each posting.

Cool story time. Lynn Moore sold this '40 sedan MANY years ago. His son, Lonny found it, bought it, and rebuilt it and gave it back to Lynn last year, way nicer than when Lynn sold it. I believe this photo came from that day. I stole it off of Lonny's FB page.

For those of you who are coming to the Midwest Forty Ford 80th Birthday Gathering next month, Lynn's '40 will be among the attendees with one of Lonny's '40s, too.

  28. Here's a handful of the '40s that are registered to come to the Midwest Forty Ford 80th Birthday Gathering. I'm pretty stoked! There are many more on the list, but I didn't want to flood the internets with them.
