    You sir, are unbelievably polite......
Now with that said, what an amazing body, and fine chassis.
I enjoyed the 5 window build that you did . Looking forward to following this one .
Thanks for posting and taking us along.

Thanks Clem. I wish I could post some finished pics of the 5 window build but I can't yet. It turned out phenomenal.
Here is another pic of the chassis with the mock up engine-trans in getting ready for motor mounts and trans brackets. Henry also welded in more of the braces. What he does amazes me.

    BIGBANGTHEORY,
There is nothing wrong IMO with you knowing to stay within your abilities and have someone build your car to this level. I personally am learning so much from all these great build threads on the HAMB. Thank You for posting and please continue to do so until you are driving the wheels off this Deuce in Louisville.

Here are a couple more detail shots of the chassis, motor mounts. Henry comes up with somewhat different ideas for motor mounts for every build.

The tire size is P265/70 R16 on the rear and 135 R15 on the front. They are Firestone.

People make negative comments or critisize other people’s cars because they are jealous. Plain and simple.

Looks like this will be an amazing Deuce...can’t wait to see the finished product. Way to go with the 5 window by the way, it too turned out awesome.

Imagine all of the truly talented people that would be out of work if we all built every aspect of our own ride. We would never get to see their work or get tips and ideas from them. Some like to build them more than drive them. Some are the opposite, so what.

Although I have never built a hotrod I have owned an old Pete&Jakes hotrod for almost 23yrs and enjoyed the heck out of it. Build threads such as this show me what all goes into building a quality car and I appreciate the car more. Thanks for sharing this build as it is entertaining and educational. Keep on keeping on and I hope to see it one day. Thanks again......

Hadn't been to see Henry in a couple weeks and boy has he been busy. Got the body mocked up on the chassis. Looks awesome, now the only question is how much to chop it. image000000.jpg 117139780_4993668467325508_4526454223095774891_o.jpg 116876530_4993668620658826_6257407735291067609_o.jpg image000000 (1).jpg

we know that you are just kidding us..........right ?

Doesn’t really matter anyway, any amount from 1” to 4&1/2” will still look great. Such are the lines of any deuce. Chop, no chop, full fenders, no fenders, any combination, they look good any which way !

    I agree.
Always prefer stock height with fenders and a wicked rake, for a 3w.

Here are a few pics of the chassis before they put the floors in. Henry got the exhaust ran most of the way back also. Resized_20200806_114524_2038.jpeg Resized_20200806_103610_4358.jpeg Resized_20200806_103554_1577.jpeg

Looks like you picked a good quality builder to do the car. Should be a very nice Deuce when finished.

  24. This Henry fella needs to dial it back a notch or two- he is making the rest of us look like a bunch of back yard hacks- seriously nice work this guy does- the rake on this car is absolute’Killer’. ...Da-gumm!

I'm a chop it guy, almost everything I have built has been chopped. Yet there's something refreshing about a slammed stock height 3 window that gets me excited??????????? Maybe I'm just getting old??????????????

A couple more pics of the car. Henry is going to take about 1/2 inch off the backside of the wheel so it sets farther inside the fender and then drop the rear end down a little. Resized_20200806_113113_9039.jpeg Resized_20200806_113613_589.jpeg
