  2. This exact car has floated around my Orlando neighborhood for over 10 years
Current owner seems hopeless to do anything with it
Cars sitting outside in Florida is a death wish. Rust from the top down

    Hi Charles,
Sorry to take so long responding but just looked at the this site again after a long time. Name is Don Kuehn, Doorsills LLC, 81 Graham Ave, North Haledon, NJ, 07508. Phone 973-423-1196. Keep trying on the phone number if you don't get through right away. Took me a couple of days. Sills are great. Good Luck!

Uncleandy65, you appear to possibly be a MOPAR man. If you are I’d like to throw a request out to you. I’m looking for a pair of rear wheel openings from the rear quarter panels for a 61/62 Plymouth or Dodge that sweeps back beyond the tire. (From a 2 door) I haven’t had any luck at all locating any so far and may just have to make them. But I would rather find a set in good shape and adapt to my 54 Chevy quarter panels. Speaking of which, I could use a better example than I have of a passenger side quarter also from a 2 door. Just thought I’d throw that at there just in case. Thanx.

Hi, I have a couple of 67 GTX's and that is the only Mopar stuff I have. I can't remember seeing any of those cars you are looking for. I'll keep a lookout for you. Bill

Looking for advice on a suitable replacement clutch plate for my ‘56 230 flathead Plymouth. As I’m in New Zealand, ideally a place that I can get oil canister filters, water pump, gaskets etc too so that I can combine shipping. Rock Auto does everything I need except the clutch - unless there are compatible cross over models that I’m not aware off? Thanks in advance- Colin

Hey I know im not on here all that much, but you all might have some answers that’ll help me out quite a bit- I’m slowly restoring this ‘56 dodge Coronet club coupe, and I need some help finding some new leaf springs, hangers, etc... i was wondering if you all had any advice or offer some insight

  19. Thought I would just check out my Hollander interchange manual - there is no multiple's on the 1956 down side on the disk - if you go up a few years to about 1959 the last year of the flathead six - I looked at the pressure plates which seamed to have a lot of different makes using the pressure plate and I'm thinking if we went with a 1959 set up maybe that would be more find-able on the disk. For some reason they are looking at the 1956 as a one year only flywheel. If you go up to a 1957 that goes to 1960 with a 318 being the same. Let me look again - I was into this pretty heavy at one time at the salvage yard and a 1957 six flywheel should bolt up to the early hemi along with the flywheel - so I pulled that set up years ago.

  20. Does't matter much your not hear - think there's answer's if you go back a few threads - seams they are using maybe Dakota's or Ford Aerostar van's.

Thanks Lawrence! Didn’t think about going up in years. I might also look at dodge power wagons? Surely was the same for dodge?

  22. yes good idea - some power wagons did have 3 speeds and the flat head up to 1959 - the truck bell housings often have multiple engine adaptability......maybe I should look at that too....

  23. There's the Town Wagon or panel also - like a Suburban.....

Has anyone thought of making drop spindles for a forward look mopar? Im thinking of taking my old spindles and moving the place where the knucle pin slides into the spindle 1 1/2- 2 inches up to give the car somewhat of an old school daygo rake. Anyone have any experience with this? Or thoughts?
