Why don't I see "start a conversation" appear on my avatar?

I just started noticing it's missing, seems like I'm the only one!
Just wondering..........

 

It's there when I hover over your avatar. Maybe only others can see it since you wouldn't start a conversation with yourself.

 

..........or then again.
