Right now plan is to get the car road Worthy. All new tires, check brake drums as my bud said they looked a little thin while he was replaceing all the brake stuff for the original owner. Need to move the seat back some as I'm 6'4 but retain the stock look. Has a couple leaks that will need to be addressed. And rewire since front half of wires are all exposed. It's will need paint at some point since who ever painted last must not have prepared the car very well as it's cracking bubbling and coming off. (But that will be last) once it's on the road drive it and finish up build my 30 Tudor hot rod. Then I'll dress the flathead up a little but don't plan on messing with it to to much

One gentleman wanted a running and driving car he could drive anywhere. The other gentleman had a car he had to sell (wife said no without selling other) which he had a buyer for but buyer backed out and opened it up to me which I was ready to pounce

Well got some new shoes in the old gal and got tags and insurance on and drove it around a little. Stopped at a local Vietnam vet my Friend knew that wanted to see the car as he's father had one just like it. Brought back some good times and memories for him to share with us 99706.jpeg 99707.jpeg 99854.jpeg 99857.jpeg 99852.jpeg 101827.jpeg

had a great weekend, drove the car about 200 miles Saturday for a little get together with some great friends. was the first time driving the 36 anywhere. she did great. still have to tinker with it some. seems when it was at operating temp and in low gears it wanted to flutter or hesitate. had to find sweet spot in the pedal and would be ok. when cruising 55-60 had no problem at all. then Monday the daughter and I needed to take it out again so went to dairy queen for some ice cream.

Took the 36 out for a quick ride and to snag some pictures. Also had my parents down and of course had to take them for a ride. IMG_20200716_194514214.jpg IMG_20200716_193226233.jpg IMG_20200716_193608730.jpg IMG_20200716_193621137.jpg FB_IMG_1595620561332.jpg IMG_20200716_194514214.jpg

I gotta say it again. That is a beautiful car. I wouldn't change a thing until I wore it slap out.

Just leave it as i found it. just fix as it comes up. The paint will need to be redone since who ever did it back when did t prep very well so its cracking and coming off, but ill wait till it gets worse. I have thewthe 30 tudoratudor with a nailhead im still building so i dont mind leaving it alone for now atleast.
