  1. Hey guys lets roll! Sorry I missed the last couple weeks, it's been a crazy summer...

Here is one I sketched out on a plane ride to Albuquerque. Flew down with my son and we drove back in his, new to him, 1994 Toyota pickup...

years back, I animated an "Itchy & Scratchy" sequence for the show. I submitted a design for "Itchy's hot rod" but I was requested to simplify it. This is what they went with for the show:

I had to HAMBify it for myself with an 'implied' nailhead lurking under the hood as well as big 'n littles:

This was my initial design concept

He is usually very consistent on the weekly starting time, he must be busy at the moment.

    Hello,

Reath Automotive had connections with the Delta Machine Shop and coordinated the early blower drives for sale to the local hot rod/drag race people. The Delta Machine Shop also created their well known custom crankshafts and other machined racing parts for the drag race community. While Reath Automotive was still in the 10th and Cherry location, Delta Machine had a small shop up in the Signal Hill area near the Bill Stroppe warehouse.

"Huey Holick owned Delta Machine up by Stroppe. He did blower drives and blower plates.”

It was a nice looking roadster, similar to a lot of the modified full bodied roadsters of the day during 1959-60. After the sad loss of Mickey Brown at Lions Dragstrip in 1959, Delta Machine was part of a large group of hot rod/drag race builders/manufacturers that contributed to the Mickey Brown Memorial Race held at Lions. For the Modified Roadster Class they donated a set of their custom Boxed Rods to supplement the winning A/R on that day.

Could this be an early version of the Delta Machine Shop Roadster without the sponsorship logos?
