The first people I met on here were JK, Hard Luck and Cliff, Ryan's old college buddy. Then I met Big Nate over at Hard Luck's (Kevin) house practicing tattooing on hams. It was illegal in OK back then. Seems like forever ago.

So I am confused. I just looked at "New to the HAMB?" and clicked on the latest entry, it was @Fat Uncle Tony and he is member number 355,332.

    What am I missing?

  4. From what I remember in the past Ryan purged many inactive and spam accounts. I presume Robo accounts fall under this as well? May add to the overall total?

  5. #276... 9 months shy of my 20th anniversary, although I was around a bit before the reset too.

    I need a life.

    I'm 105140.
I think it would be interesting to know the number of Alliance members.

  8. What "it" was illegal?

  9. Tattooing in the state of Oklahoma. Oklahoma was the last state to allow tattooing, beginning in 2006.

There was an earlier one, but I am drawing a blank. It's when Ryan was at OU.

The funny thing is that even when there were only 100s of members the posts were almost realtime. It inspired me to go off and do so many things. Not all of them car related. Great people that were patient and skilled enough to teach you anything. ...and some folks so talented that it would blow your mind.

The greatest things in America have always come out of our garages.

  21. Also, we're 7 pages deep with some reminiscing, but a whole lot of 'what's my number' posts... Someone posted the three previous threads on this topic, which all have the exact same response from Ryan. Someone else called that guy out for posting the old threads.

Not sure what some of you are expecting Ryan to do other than re-share what he's already posted... Unless we want Ryan to make up some mythical adventure about how he trek'd the hills of Tibet and spent 6 years in solitude before understanding an enlightened path to the H.A.M.B.

  22. New threads yes. But @BrerHair's point is that member 355332 joined the HAMB today.
