Smitty, If you don't like the way those sisters look, you can always stop for a Montreal Steak on your way back!

    They were far gone...
bought 2 pair of rough '30 sportie quarters and a fair tulip...
left a NASTY pile of cowls, doors and quarters with the seller...
stopped at Hart's turkey farm for a turkey dinner on the way home...
    sure wasn't Montreal steak...

    she is a twisted sister,
but a little jenny craig and she might get back to being a Henry's Lady again..
note the difference in '29-'31 cabriolet and sport coupe quarters...4th pic.
he had the back half of a '28 roadster...
he said a quarter was rusted through at the beltline... said the tulip was there... I have a rt. '28 sportie quarter, hoped it would patch most of the bad quarter...
WOW, it laid upside down and was blown out from the B pillar back to the decklid... the tulip had the bolt holes not much else... said it has a great subfloor and lower quarters... $500... i'ld rather take the cash and buy repop subfloor and patches...
If there are guys out there that are braver than I, I can pm you his # in central NH. he has [2] '30 coupe cowls with [doors ?], pr. sportie quarters...
    about $100 a panel...

Never a doubt. One of the trad guys told me roadsters didn't have b pillars. Mabey so, but what do you call them?

    B pillars...
even though they are only angle steel,
I call them B pillars as a location as much as what they are made from...

Awesome build. Thanks for the post. I may borrow some of your ideas. I just got a 1930 Model A four door minus most of the body for free. We got it running , now it's figuring out what to do for a body. Gary

flattie porting because i run SBFs, they switched sides on the lower port after '70...

Does the rad fill up the shell? Mine does not fill the 28 9 shell.

  26. Is that a superior unit? If so the price has really gone up.

Space in the shell, not liquid.
    Good idea for fill problems.
