Just remembered this, an AMBLER Brothers overhead for a Model A or B block. Found it 8 inches down in a collapsed chicken coop along with some 1915 Harley Davidson parts. It was in the estate of a friend, I knew he had the overhead conversion, nobody else did, I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Bought the contents of the chicken coop, and just kept digging stuff out of the remains of the floor. Saw what I knew was a Model A upper water outlet, brushed off the debris on the head and smacked my little finger on a rocker stand. Knew at the very moment what it was. Rocker cover was there with the push rods in it.

"Ambler Brothers" overhead conversion. Never even heard of it. Buried in the floor of the chicken coop. Glad you found it.

Speaking of Model A parts, these are FREE to the first person that picks them up. You must take all three, and, I guess the 17" wheel must not be Model A – but it could be yours! They're in San Bernardino. I ain't shipping them. Call me at nine-oh-nine ate-ate-too 8489.

Thanks. There are a lot of hedge rows with junk in them in Kansas that no one hardly ever see's, and then of course most people these days that do manage to see them, don't know what they are looking at.

Thanks for sharing those pictures! What a find, even though it got away. Thrill of the hunt!

    Winner, winner, donut (not) dinner!

Call first so I know you are coming. Or, we're going to Oak Glen tomorrow to some "green" place – I guess I could drop them off at your place on the way home.

Half mile from my house. I had lived there 25 years at the time and never new it existed. A neighbor tipped me off. Pissed me off at the time but I'm probably better off without it. Had juice brakes so it was someones Hot Rod back in the day.
