Technical ‘56 or ‘66 GM Intake?

    Its actually 3837107...its a 1956 intake

    If you know your carb bases .. they were way different from 56 to 66 to 76 to 86

    I don’t know my carb bases. The two barrels from ‘55 on all look the same to me. I was going to put a newer ‘70 Rochester on this.

    The intakes look different, you'll find a choke stove on the 66 intake, but not the 56. The large carb bases were not used on all the 2bbl engines, you'll find a small base on a 307, large on a 350, iirc.

    Thanks Squirrel, I think the 2 bbl is from a 307.
