^That red T is Chuck Miller's before he built the C-Cab body and it became the Fire Truck.

You can tell because of the lack of end tables among the cars, bikes and the boat.:)

I just got this 59 driving again after sitting for many many years. Running a 283 solid lifter, single carb for now (got a set of dual barrels I'll put on once I get the bugs out) IMG_5874.jpg . Looks like it was painted in the 60's. Its a real heavy metal flake paint job.

About 15 yrs ago we had a very rough '57 Nomad. But, it did run and the wife took it to car shows where it usually won Diamond in the Rough awards. Anyway, at one show my wife stalled it pulling into her spot. She couldn't get it started so we pushed it into position. I had/have some male manequin legs with jeans and boots on, I slid the legs under the car. A few hours later a lady asked her husband if he should go check on the guy under that car as he has been under there for a long time. Besides Diamond in the Rough we have won quite a few Display awards. I have a car hop manequin along with some others. The wife and I get pretty creative with our displays.
Another time with the Nomad, we put a 'Christmas' tree on the roof with the legs under the car, old suitcases and presents in the back and a sign that said "I'll be home for Christmas, maybe". They didn't have a display award, but she got one for "Most in need of Restoration". At the same show I got "Santa's Choice" with my '50 Ford. I won't go into all the details on that disply, but I did have the fog light that went in the bullet in the grille. I put red lens tape on it and called it Rudolph's red nose.
