New guy. Brooklyn, Mi. Right near the MIS race track, so lots of car and race history around my little town of course. Had a 68 Chevy c10 lowered way down, 3 ot tree, etc, but had to sell it (and most my other toys) when a lake house came up the wife and I really wanted. Been in the house long enough to save up some cash, so just popped on a 51 shoebox, a car I've always wanted. Flathead v8 nicely built, lake pipes. Lots of updates on it, so not a ton to do but drive it for a while. Sounds absolutely amazing. Got a 5yo little boy who always wants to go faster, just like dad, and his granddad. Quick introduction done. Thanks everyone.
Love those shoeboxes.... especially 50 & 51. Looks like yours is two-door... even cooler. My father owned a twin spinner in his day and when I was seriously looking it was a single spinner that caught my eye. Feel free to share some more pics here. Welcome OzMerc
A few more pics. Taking my dad out cruising tonight. He's got Parkinson's and it's difficult to get in and out of the wood boat nowadays. We're actually boat guys, but I got this because I can still get him out cruising more easily. You can see his smile in the Pic, and he ain't smiled like that in months...
