Where there's a flathead Caddy engine there's Always wild pipes...another interesting connection to this may have been another pic I posted a while back perhaps the same roadster at a Racetrack which I suspect may have even been the same day and location...

Obviously they went to far and lowered it a bit with a reverse eye spring...

 

The old coupe has been gone without a word for 2 1/2 years. Guess what showed up this morning in one of the FB pages...........still is great looking

I believe Al was the one who piloted @Fast Elvis's Purple people eater many moons ago...and by the sounds of things may in fact do it once more thanks to Elvis's bringing it back...Go Al Go!!!...Go Elvis Go!!!

He is probably their grandson and that was probably their first new car as a young married couple.

 

The roadster still lives in London Ontario brother....it sits in the shop with my 55 Chevy...lol....great piece of early hot rodding.

 

Elvis I'm a bit wowed about the Georgia departure either getting turned around or just my misunderstanding of the story but how cool is that that it's right in your stomping grounds literally. There was pretty cool Hotrod going on both sides of the fence back in the day...without question...and it's lovingly in tip top circa 55 trim to boot...absolutely heartwarming to see that...and thanks for that great news and another Shop Pic...you fellas are surrounded by cool your way...

 

As someone who once owned a Jack Russell Terrier (man I miss that pup) dragsters are a distant second. Sorry fellas.

I believe he was referring to the stance and low missle like profile that undoubtably clung to the winding roads and could go where the average Hotrod wouldn't dare and come out with the the win......well sorta maybe...

My old bomb at the best show on the east coast. Another HAMBer, Jim Sager, took a picture sitting in my car. probably 2010. Saw it for the first time today.........just had to share it
