  1. Anyone know what these are? I’ve never seen them before, probably not H.A.M.B. friendly but my curiosity has gotten the better of me...

    They are 14x7.

I remember those in the early 70's I believe they were E/T unilug.
They require a special washer and lug depending on the bolt circle.

  3. I know about the unilug washer thing, I can’t seem to figure out who made the wheels, I’m thinking they wouldn’t look terrible polished

we'd have to go to the web page shown in the image, and find the guy's email address, and ask him kindly to look in the catalogs, and see when the wheels were first offered.

Holy cow that brings back memories as a kid building model cars in the 70s. One of my favorite Vettes had those wheels... monogram-corvette-ss-hatchback_1_0af005ddd6dd0534c07f465e34821fc4.jpg

Had a set of those on my 67 Camaro, in the early 80's . You don't see them too often.

  15. I can get them cheap, and I think they would look good polished but not sure what I would do with them then.

Do they come with the lug inserts? Not much good without them unless they are still available new?

  17. I have some...I’m still talking myself out of them...

how hard is it to find some spiffy looking wheel covers? Is there an old hubcap shop around?

I could imagine these with some raised center cones with knockoff-looking spinners on them (like a '66 Corvette wheel center) and I think they could look nice on the right build. The oddity of them is a plus, you'll have the only set.

14x7 seems to be very unpopular in these days, although 14" wheels really were the hot lick from the late 50's into the 70's. I would love to see a return to embracing 14" wheel sizes, with era-appropriate tires.

If I had them, they would be kickass for a car trailer...

I have that same 75 catalog and it shows them only available in 13x5.5 and 14x6.75. Good luck finding the uni lug washers.

Portland Oregon swap meet always has a lug nut/wheel washer/wheel spacer vendor, and probably many other larger swap meets do as well. He had them at Portland last year again.
Not that hard to find the washers.

That just wrung the mental bell for me....that's where I've seen that style before, on a Vega back in the late 1970's or early 80's(13 x 5.5"). For the life of me I could not remember where I had actually seen them until your post. ;)
