Tom Tjaarda was involved in the design in one of my favorite cars ever,De Tomaso Pantera.But it started in 1970 so no pics.How about this one?

I believe you are correct. I can't remember what movie. I was trying to recall but no luck so far.

All kidding aside in 1956 this was normal and expected. If a guy was going under, the car was on a lift. At Sears in the early 60’s we only used stands when needed the jack.
