Nice car but unfortunately nothing elegant about a custom with virtually every possible panel that can open opened.

It does look like the 40 Lincoln Zephyr is getting both a tonsillectomy and a colonoscopy at the same time. "Open up and say arrrggh!"

 

No spectators around it probably mean "Judges" are coming around to do their thing

 

Amazing, I was just reading about the Cord in a mag last night. Change the wheels and raise it up and it would be elegant.

 

Probably the thing that let's it down. There spinners like on low riders but are waited so thay don't turn.

I may have already posted this one but its a kool picture. When I think of Elegant Kustom this is one comes to my mind.

Indeed. One of my favorites. This was the "era" when I first got interested in Custom cars. I loved following the build of this car in Custom Rodder. It's always fascinates me how different the paint looks in different settings.
