  3. Frank that is a wonderful shot with your car in the pic. So great that your car is black and suits the pic as would not be as effective if any other color. Thanks for details on art display.
I saw something similar in the late 70s done with sprayed cement on the cars.

  4. Thank you WQ59B ! My wife has a 37 Chev pickup with a SBC and I have a 39 Chev panel delivery with a Buick 322. Your period pic made us realize what life looked like when they were new in their day to day roles.

Same year Indians, guy on the right came from riding a Harley and changed the shifter, front brake, throttle, and advance to match. Guy on the left kept his the way Indian made it...but neither don’t care about anything but what they want to do when they get off shift...either Florida or Cali

My Mom gave me these two photos of my Grandfather: David John Parker. Although he wasn't a hotrodder, he was an amazing man. He could do so many things, and do them well. He didn't go to school very long, but he had a knowledge of Physics like no other. Born in 1894, and raised on a farm at 14 Mile and Stevenson, in Troy, MI, he needed many skills to work on the farm. Here are the photos of two of the cars he had during his life. A 1926 Ford, and I believe a 1950 Ford. (don't beat me up if I am off by a year, I am a Chevy guy). He owned only Fords all of his life , driving until the age of 92, and passing away at age 96. He was a great guy, who taught me many skills, and helped to form my attitudes toward work. Those are '40's, not 41's to be more specific.
