That is sick . If you could find a set of rear doors that would the only change I would make to the body . and a full 1960's psychedelic Gasser paint job with the Union Jack on the roof

That's a great looking panel just as it is. If it drives and rides OK, then drive it!!

I haven't been selling,or building much for a while, and you are from Far Away, but I've had a few Anglias(7)and 1 Pop,I've never owned a Thames ,but sure have seen a few-I'm in my seventies now,and only have 2 left-but lots of pieces that I'll be selling soon here. A real popular mod was to move the b pillar back and put anglia doors on so you can actually see out the window ! Maybe wifey would like it more !

I would love a pair of rear doors and I heard that prefect doors are the same as Thames front doors but anglia has window rollers and cranks. Love to find grille trim and hood badge as well as hood prop rod and of course I would love to find a vintage gasser style front suspension.

I'm going to get it running today and see if I have any brake pedal also. I may just leave it as is for now.

I had this model when I was a kid, it's the first thing I think of when I hear the words Thames Panel. :)

    Bad ass.
Sure drive it around for awhile and enjoy it.
But after that I’d rip her apart and do it right. That thing belongs on the strip.
    60’s theme all the way.
What a find. Good for you.

Back when, guys would get the rack from a Morris Minor. Same difference. A rack does what you need.
One good rule is: Don't break up a car that does its job. Whatever the job you need done.
Change the easy, let the next guy bleed on it.

  19. It would be better with rear doors, but only if I owned it. Parts are available for it, maybe they have a rear door kit.

I agree. On my Anglia project I will be painting it up to look like a '60s style gasser, but with a streetable drivetrain.

I agree. I will be using R&P IFS on my build.

  28. Better be careful, the mere mention of R&P IFS will get your post deleted by Moriarity....

I knew a guy who had one with close to the same setup drive train wise years ago and that thing was a real handful on the street. Bad enough when he ran it on the strip. Fun though. Just make sure you have lots of room the first few times you romp on it.

Slick looking rig that sure sounds good on that second go.
