Pinstriping and even some kooky slang on the Pumpkin is period correct and is a potential option to consider...on Ole Nasty...;)

Glad I didn't sell it any of the 100 times I considered it AND the time I actually listed it for sale.

  6. Normally I strongly dislike tires that stick out past the fenders. Ruins the head on look for me... BUT, on this car, I really dig the look!

    How about white stripes?

I like Ol' Nasty. Haha. I'm not one for names... but it's going to get striped, I'm pretty sure.

The coupe has never been seen at this level of mock-up.

  16. I don’t know about the rear wheels Brent. Pretty wide. Maybe you should send them back.

  23. Love this build, how much more engine set back did you get from reversing the firewall? Distributor room?

    Thanks so much!!

I think overall the flip adds 6.5" or so from stock. At the moment, I can't remember exactly.

The distributor clears, even with the setback. Anything bigger, though, and I have to cut in.

Setback, was something we played with. There is a lot going on with the steering, clutch slave, top of the bell housing, shifter location,, etc.

While I don't have the number at the moment, I do remember that the setback took the car out of gas class and put it into altered by 1" according to the mid-60s NHRA rules.

Those rules have been a guideline for much of the car's plan.

Rear Frame Horns on a Model A Coupe:

Not so much of an update as a couple of closer details on the rear frame horns with the body and fenders in place.

I was wondering if you had seen it in person. If you are at Ryan's before me, sneak some pics!
