I only buy the paper on Friday and Saturdays for the NYT crossword. I don't read the damn thing but I do check the funny pages from time to time since they are across from the puzzle. This seemed apt for you cavemen. Enjoy

Billy truly that is an interesting Cartoon in that it highlights how banter and suggestion can become gospel years and years later (with the original purveyor of thought long since departed) thinking about the saying lighting them up, warming up the tires, and depending on misfortune in drag racing the Tire may in fact just did have flame wrapping right around it's circumference...

The Other twist is that those milestones and even the look of disbelief are true to today...

I wonder when Mike Lavelee had the exact same idea, and the career he built with it? Although he was't a Washington State native, nor am I, he brought a lot of recognition in the hot rod world, to "our" state. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

You got me there buddy! I was doing a start up on a fresh motor today with a friend and every time there was a leak I was out there mopping up and polishing the chrome. I have Issues! Nor like @Moriarity but I have a few. BTW, it runs!
