Nicholas, how very well done, thanks. And it's nice to see that everybody in the picture was in uniform with penny loafers and white socks. The guy in the back with the Buddy Holly glasses looks like he's not sure if he belongs there or not.

Typical club, a couple of real cool guys, several regular guys, a couple dwebes, one felon trying to hide from the camera! LoL

  3. Thank you all for the great compliments. I will pass those on to the family. These guys were really cool. Not just "Arkansas" cool either!

The family's only request is to know what happened to the truck. It was sold around the 1970s and hasn't been seen around here since. I hope someone out there can help us.

    Please share!

  7. Those guys loved anything fast. If it wasn't fast then it had to be cool.

  8. Last images from the binder. Appears to be family car shows. Please delete if this is OT. No intending in any way to violate HAMB rules. IMG_20190818_012242.jpeg IMG_20190818_012258_1.jpeg IMG_20190818_012317.jpeg IMG_20190818_012354.jpeg IMG_20190818_012404.jpeg IMG_20190818_012413_1.jpeg

  10. The last of the binder. Thank you so much for viewing our little snapshot of Arkansas history.

(Please delete if not HAMB friendly. I'm just trying to show the passage of time for these cars. Sadly, many of our favorite styles are now gone.)...the late Hamber @Doodlrodz owned this not so long ago...certainly has some similarities...dunno

Thanks for sharing the collection and thank the Club for us @Nicholas Coe...;)

  13. I've been shown that one before. It is extremely close! We may have to build a clone for my buddy if we can't find the original. Wouldn't that be a bad ass build thread?

I still believe the original car is our there somewhere. IMG_20190818_011420.jpeg IMG_20190818_010932.jpeg IMG_20190818_011222-1.jpeg

Where did all the tall thin hoods go, when I go to a car show now all I see are old gray haired fat guys sitting in lawn chairs. Thats me second from the left.

  15. Really? Do you know what happened to Dick's truck? Do you remember much about it Dan?

Nice to see some history from Northwest Arkansas. There was lots of rodding going on in the middle of our country.

  18. Nice! Would you happen to remember anything about the 1930 truck? Ever see it on the road?

    Thanks

  23. Whatcha mean Bones? Like when I tell everyone that I'm an idiot with a wrench? True statement.

I'm still praying someone knows what happened to the truck. I really don't want to have to use Fartbook.

Well, Nick, this is strange! It shows that was posted at 3.14 this morning! At 3:14 this morning I was in bed asleep! I have no idea what it means! Odd!

  25. Looks like interiors were an option in some old show cars, lots of tin foil.
    Maybe they were drag cars.....?
    And lots of angel hair!!
