I get on the hamb from time to time and always am intriuged by what some guys go by as thier online name some are just thier everyday name but to most we came up with an online or forum name. so how did you come up with yours. I will start it off. I go by in the weeds on the hamb and coupe33 on other forums. The coupe 33 is because i owned a 1933 ford coupe ounce, and the in the weeds came from talking with a fellow hamber one day about lowering model As and 32's he said to me if you really want to put one in the weeds you run a flat front crossmember and c nothch the hell out of the front. The in the weeds stuck, so thats how it came to be.whats your story?

Krylon32. I built a 32 Ford pu and had no money for paint so I painted it with Krylon satin black paint. I then had a personalized plate saying KRYLN 32 made for it. The truck was featured in the Oct. 05 issue of R&C and then went to England.

My memory is poor, and I have the car, so it's easy to remember.

5150 from the California Welfare and Institutions Code - crazy + 4 Big Ass Trucks (bat) = 51504bat
Always have had a love for large trucks, whether it be an Army deuce and 1/2, COE, or old Mack. Had 3 '40 Ford conventional 1 1/2 ton trucks, one of which could have been a daily driver. It didn't take me too long to realize that it was a pita to drive. Sold everything and bought my '39 p/u but still have a soft spot for big ass trucks.

I live in Ohio and Buicks have been a big part of my life ever since I came home from the hospital when I was born in a 46 Roadmaster. There for BuckeyeBuicks seems a natural for my handle.

Straight Axle Guy, was given to me by some guys that didn't know my name but every time they saw me I was in a straight axle rod or building a straight axle rod, and I prefer a straight axle to drive.

Didn’t become creative enough until after I created this name  . Now I can think of 10 or 20 names I like better.

  21. What inspired my online name? That is the question. Well, I’ve always had a soft spot for early to mid fifties Chrysler’s. A long time friend of mine has a beautifully restored (wait for it) 55 Chrysler, that being said when I was thinking of my H.A.M.B. handle I thought of that car and the rest as they say is history.

I am a part time musician, & my avatar is a guitar that I own. Pretty rare & worth a FEW dollars. It's a '62 Fender Esquire & it has... wait for it... one pickup. As opposed to a Telecaster, which has two.

Hnstray.........my long time nick name is Honest Ray, a self anointed name when I began my career selling cars/ intended to elicit smiles and chuckles from customers and poke fun at the 'image'. Worked well enough as an 'ice breaker'.

When I joined the HAMB...., I tried using that, but it was 'unavailable' as I recall....so I altered it to sort of a phonetic version. However, I have never seen a member with the formal spelling.....so????? Maybe I am misremembering.......(thanks G Bush)
