My Pop and Uncles were the kings of reversed rims back in the 60’s!
They used to drill out the rivets and flip ford and merc wheels, then have them chromed

Well that is pretty nice too! But I understand having to sell them sometimes.

  12. It was a lot of fun...sounded very angry when it fired up..it was such a great Sleper..people had no idea what it had in it..as soon as it fired, heads would turn, got lots of thumbs up, and what’s in it from people..

  14. I have always loved 61 2-door sedans. That one sounded like a blast and looks like quite the sleeper. But, I also understand the need to sell these things at times.

Your old 61 is bad ass. If you don’t mind I’d love to see more pictures of it. I’m not sure if you’ve seen my post of the 60 Catalina I picked up last month. I’m basically building the same thing only the Pontiac version with the plan for a “390hp 428/4 spd.

Hey! Question for y’all are any of you running L 78’s on the back of a 32 to 34 full fendered Ford with chrome reverse rims?
I want to order Series 64 from Wheelvintiques 15x7 custom reversed, with a 3 1/4 back space. So I think they will fit under fenders.
