That brought back a lot of memories. I attended the 1963, 1964, and 1967 races.

 

Bumping this as I’m surprised this hasn’t gotten more traction.
This has to be some of the best footage I’ve ever seen.
The person who’s posting these on YouTube has several other good videos as well.

Fantastic! In my opinion the mid 60s to early 70s were the greatest drag racing years. My age may have something to do with that opinion.
I liked the wind up key on Nix’s car.

You know, I saw this online the other day and I was going too post it. I've seen the one from '63 on here but not this one.

We learned, that wearing an Asbestos fire mask could save you from burns, and how good those Winston Cigarettes tasted. Bob Beezer (in the Indian outfit) was a big part of the show, and a nice guy to boot. Thanks for posting this , showing a special time for many of us !
