We went out to the gun range (private) yesterday with a small arsenal and blew off about 400 rounds. It was close, but Bonnie out-shot me (bitch) again. Came home, cleaned the guns...feel a lot better

  2. It was 86 degrees in Omaha today!!!! I told the missus I was tired of having cabin fever so I jumped into my trusty 34 coupe and drove over to my buddy's house. He was working on his gasser styled 50 chevy coupe and needed to go play today. We've all been holed-up in our houses. We went over to another buddy's place who was selling a model A sedan. My buddy, Gary already has 2 of his own projects going and another guy's 41 chevy pickup project but I think he's gonna buy this model A. It's a super solid 1930 two door and it is cherry. Price was really fair too and it has a good title. After riding in my 34 all afternoon, I think he'll buy it. abone.jpg abone2.jpg

Ive had this, 36 truck about 10 years, lack of time, a divorce, and a few surgeries kept me from it.
Now with lots of down time I finally felt inspired and dug into it this week. A neat solid old truck. The drivers door had "Gage Furniture exchange" painted on it.
Hope you and your familys all are safe and healthy.. And are making the best of your forced time off. 0404201253.jpg 0404201034.jpg View attachment 4635697 View attachment 4635697

Neighbors gave me a carport. 18 x 20. One catch. Had to have it out of his yard Monday morning latest. Damn near destroyed it getting it done. Anyway... it's in the spot where I want it now. I'm effing tired.

Top it off with a flareup of rosacea from being out in the sun during peak hours. Lovely.

  16. Yard work and fooled with the motorcycle. Then some more yard work..... which led me to my latest project. I’m building an atv trailer so I’ll have an easier time doing yard work. Just shoot me now please.;)

  20. Although I'm still working, I've been plugging away on the Shoebox, should be a couple more weeks, I hope.
When you hear "a couple 5 window coupes", you probably had something else in mind.
    I wish!
Still happy to have what I've got!

  21. Sorry guys, looks like I've been moderated, even though there was a 50 Shoebox coupe in the pic.
I guess I'll have to move my o/t coupe out of the garage before I take any more pics to submit?
Funny how some stuff slides right on by & some don't?
I literally just posted the pic, must be a bunch of Moderators stuck at home during this virus shit.

  27. Hey Jimmy, ain't that the truth the part about it being HER house but I've retired also, I'm 71 and not in the house that much... Usually in the garage of which I make clear who's garage it is... it's my last refuge! along with our patio out back... Jimmy I'm pretty sure we live in the same area because I used to see your car at "Donut Derilicts" all the time and also at the "Hillclimbs" and Flathead events... Kudos Jimmy...

Well since this bug started we have been changing a lot of things! We mail order damn near everything now. Stay at home and entertain on the deck with open air and a fire! Found out we like these things better! With nowhere to go, I have done more yard work , here than I have in years both at my place and my neighbor’s place and around the area! I’ve been re-organizing my shop! Well not really, re-organize tends to indicate it was organized at one time! Lol! Been working on several projects that I have neglected for years! I’ve still got a long was to go.... but this has been good for me and mine! I have lost thirty lbs this year! Down to 210! Looking forward to the end of this thing as I have lost six friends to this bug! One friend died last week and his wife died 24 hours later! Hope 2121 is better!
