Anyone know what the outside diameter of the front spring bushings is for a 1/2 ton AD truck?

    Thanks

  4. No problem - I'm just passing on that information, tho. I don't know myself whether 7/8th is correct.

Classic Parts catalog shows Front and Rear are the same for 1/2 tons, different on 3/4 tons.
Fronts are the same on 1/2 ton and 3/4 tons though.

I didn't see the thread until a few minutes ago. The Moog part number for the bushings at the front of the springs is
    moog-k200992
Issue is that the parts houses want about 65 bucks a pair for those bushings and you can get the whole kit shackles and all from Classic parts and probably other truck trinket vendors for less.
No measurements there though even on the moog website.
I think I have a complete bushing and shackle kit for one of my projects out in the garage and I'll make a note on my to do list to look for it tomorrow. I need to find it anyhow as I am wanting to drag that project out and work on it now that I got most of the around the house projects under control.
Rock auto shows the bushing for the back end of the spring That would be MOOG K200995 Again a bit on the spendy side. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...6,1487579,suspension,leaf+spring+bushing,7488

Rock auto does show the whole shackle kit though with several price level options.
You have to be sure you are looking at the line for 3100 though.

I think the kit I have is the ACDELCO 45G13043

As Mr 48 said no measurements given, the entire kit (front 74-007) is 29.95. I have no experience with
this part but have had good experiences with their patch panels.
