I started a Thread Recently on Half Fendered Hotrods and it caught some of the Membership off Guard as they posted quite a few with Front Cycle Style fenders WITH the Rear fenders as well which is not truly Half Fendered...

This Thread is for Hambers That Have Hotrods with Fenders Fixed to Body or Rear End, Bobbed, Unbobbed, Trailer, Flat Steel, Spare Tire Rings...

This is an Inspirational Thread but ALSO one of Understanding what went on back in 1965 and prior to that...It was a Grand time in Hotrod well worth celebrating...;)

By the way I get the Fronts regardless of type OEM or Cycle they are in fact fixed but the Cycle and Cycle Style generally Turn when the Hotrod is Steered where the OEM do not...

I actually like the Look Equally...

This Thread is a look at the Application across the complete Hamb Period and ALL Makes Allowed Via the Guidelines...right till 1965...

We All should know that Hotrods built Post 65 are allowed IF built to a 1965 and Older Period Look...

Since Stogy's Ole Hotrod Doesn't make the cut here I will post a Couple of Fellas that probably felt outed once they found out...

    32_Cycle_Fixed.jpg

...This is a real interesting Hotrod...The width of that back fender is amazing...something I associate with newer trends but nope...I believe the Fronts are Spare tire Rings Cut down and sealing the Hotrod Deal...

I'm thinking that's actually a trimmed fender but it also may be a Flat trimmed sheet with a piece of rod bar welded to the trimmed edge...

  15. I know this is off topic for this thread but your half fendered thread caused me to think the other day.

I have never really seen one that I can recall but I always figured that front fenders were more important than rears. Especially in the rain or the mud.

Thanks now I can not think about it. LOL

There's already been a couple mentioning getting sprayed in the face going left around corners in the rain and soaking the inebriated sleeping girlfriend with the right turns...:D

Hambers...I much appreciate your sharing the Memories and Good Times and reasons so many OEM front fenders ended up at Swapmeets...:D

I stole all these pictures from many different sources. downloadfile-11.jpg I know this has been shown already - but Its too good a car not to be shown in 87852300_1828508060615845_7254034466832646144_o.jpg all it's versions.
