  6. Years ago I bought a bottle of florescent red at a hobby shop to paint the needles in the gas and temp gauges on my 63. I opened the bottle the other day and mixed up the paint and repainted the needle on the gas gauge of my 50. I also painted the needle of the voltmeter I'm going to use to match the other gauges. It should be fairly easy to find.

If it can't come USPS, UPS or FedEx it's not going to happen. If those company drivers stop delivering we who are at home keeping busy will come to a stand still. My MO now is order part, get part, spray down the cardboard box with bleach, let sit for a few hours, open box, clean part & install. Life has changed, kinda like the movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still". Hopefully it will only be "The Spring That The Earth Stood Still"

Gave me a chuckle. My wife makes me spray Lysol completely over the package and only use my shoe toe to turn it over. Then let sit for a few hours. Think we are all changing to a new normal.

Is that Twink? [ for typing correction ]

If so, I do that also .
It drys quickly and easy to control.

I use flouro red aerosol paint . It also dries quickly.
I sprayed it into an empty jar, then used a pencil touch brush on the needles.

I do calligraphy so this is easy for me [one job my husband gets me to do]

Hahaha! My husband is like a kid on Xmas morning when car parts arrive.
So I "tortured" him by doing this .
Now we cannot receive unessential items at all [as if car parts aren't essential]
We can only get courier /postal services to deliver medical supplies etc.
Unfortunately he couldn't convince them that car parts were actually for medicinal purposes [sanity]

Last night while he was in the garage , I yelled out "Do you want some dinner?"
He replied "What are my choices?"

I said " Yes or F***en No!" [IMG]

    Take care up everybody.

You just get a can of florescent spray paint & squirt a little it into a disposable container, get a small artist's brush & paint away.

I wonder what you might find on a excursion into the cosmetics department in the nail polish rack?

    Just an idea. :D
