Looks to be out of the USA and an Embassy car with "Diplomatic" Plates The C being for consul or consular.
Here's mine. Dragged it out of a 30 year slumber, (By somebody else not me!) Was just too rusty for me. Passed it on to someone who really wanted it. BTW it also had the '56 Packard V-8, 4 barrel carb from the factory.
1954 Buick Super in front 1949-1951 Ford background. My Dad had a 4 door '54 Super. They were the bigger Roadmaster wheelbase, but not trimmed as plushly and only 3 portholes in the fender, not 4 like the Roadmaster.
392 Hemi . My folks had one. We lived in Las Vegas at time. During a trip to Los Angeles my Father thought there was a miss. A gas station mechanic used one of those pointed metal continuity testers to check firing of each plug WIRE. After he put metal wire covers back on EVERY WIRE SHORTED OUT to the cover. Had to replace spark plug wires. We later moved to Millbrae 50 miles south of San Francisco. Some kids (Dad saw them) stole spare tire out of trunk. Trunk lock pushbutton could be set as locked or unlocked by position of key as removed. I imagine most Mopars had this feature. When parents sold the New Yorker the purchaser only cared about the 392 Hemi as he was putting it in a speedboat. Notice I didn't use "Vegas" or "Frisco" as both seem disrespectful when it's home. 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX
Somehow I believe Charlie Brown ended up on his back after the football was pulled away in the photo preceding that one.
Advance Rumley steam tractor, Emmet Co IA, '36 ~ Another Advance Rumley in junkyard. Cost new; $6-7K. Wildrose ND, '37 ~
Note garage floozy to the left. Uncommon, they have a overpowering innate attraction to greasy mechanics. Atlanta GA, '36 ~
