Hot Rods Quickchange part, mystery thread....

    As so many of us are doing, I was cleaning/organizing the shop when I ran across this piece. It’s magnesium so, I’m thinking a quickchange part maybe, but I am stumped as to it’s identity. Take a minute, if you have one and help me out. Thanks . [​IMG][​IMG]

    It's a round tuit. You said you were going to do some cleaning when you got a round tuit.
     
  6. Looks like some kind of seal retainer. Like a driveline seal from a quick change rear or something.

    Maybe......seal retainer that fits on the side bell of a quickchange with a solid "open" axle setup such as sprint car or midget .....maybe. Have fun.
