PSI? For air spring brackets or for the hard leaf springs?

I was blessed to have stuff in my shop to do to keep me busy.
Then, my son got the "stay at home for 2 weeks" notice. He has decided his "stay home" is in my shop, he has been here everyday, all week. My project is outside, and his project is in my shop! The good news is his is leaving tomorrow, and my car will be back in the shop.

All this had nothing to do with the OP's part numbers, sorry. Gene

  16. PSI was another of Gene Scott's company's. The hardware was cast from ductile iron. Got the job done, but not pretty. I didn't know Jim was still selling the stuff.

One possibility may be for 32-34 curved spring or a 35-48 straight spring

Looks like the part numbers underwent a change at some point, could the 64xx numbers shown above be the old RR5 and 6?
Gene did make a number of variations including this one for the ‘32-‘34 curved spring.
Edit: I added another photo for the ‘35-‘48 spring kit.

I must be old, I immediately knew what he was talking about!
I installed an NOS PSI rear rod kit on a friends Model A chassis a couple years ago. It worked out great. From the picture on that one page it looks like the front axle, spring and brackets on my Austin came from PSI.

Thanks for the information, from what I can see, if I am using a 40 Ford spring I am going to want the 6405 bracket (which I am going to assume is also the RR5 bracket) what could possibly go wrong?

I found these pictures in a thread from 2018 by searching “Gene Scott PSI”. We can only speculate but to me it appears the 6406 is what you want to get the correct 106” wheelbase judging from what the catalog states. Or I could be completely wrong.
@Dean Lowe asked before, is Jim Gordon still selling these components or are you looking for them elsewhere, such as eBay?

  23. Jim Gordon's phone number is, 1-626-288-2121, or 1-626-288-3131. Either number works, just let it ring for a long time, he will pickup the phone.

  24. Looks like the tail end of a '36-'36 rear radius rod. I cut 3" holes in plate and welded it all to an 8" Ford rear.
Wish I woulda known about these.
