    Piano hinges on the doors always an indication of an Essex. I had a 26 4 door some years ago.

    Any idea where the first shot was taken?

    And the last shot is of Floyd Davis and riding mechanic Dee Toran during Practice at Indianapolis in 1937. I believe Toran was a pretty good midget driver himself.

    That's the Lempelius Offy at the Nebraska State Fairgrounds with Harold Leep at the wheel that day.
    And speaking of midgets, that looks a lot like well known midget owner Charlie Allen standing on the right in that second pic.

    The Phantom Corsair, built for Rust Heinz about 1936 or so, pretty forward thinking for the time. I wonder how many bottles of ketchup it took to pay for that?
