When my buddy Nads did his '59 El Camino, he started with a convertible windshield and built the framework around it. We did it, in his garage and driveway. Not for the faint of heart. IMHO, this is a very tricky process. Some look horrible. (like some of the Gawdawful ultra chopped Ford Shoeboxes) Detroit engineers knew what they were doing and had a keen eye for what looked good. Burnt orange Chevy is well done.
