I bought a set of Flipper Hubcaps, both Flipper bars were broken when they arrived, question?

Will the newer style hubcap flipper bars (last picture) fit on the old original hubcap?

Has anyone put the newer flipper bar on an old cap?

Do they fit the same holes or need modifying?

I know the flipper bar lengths are identical 10.5 inches on both new and old.

Does anyone re-pop the flipper bar only?

Does anyone want to sell me 2 flipper bars?

    Thank you

I’d use builders epoxy and pins to put them back together and then take them to a local foundry and get them sand cast in brass, bronze or gunmetal. I have a good foundry near me and that would be an easy one.
My mate has several V16 Cadillacs under restoration (which is where the design originated) and he successfully recast them in brass.

Don't get too excited. I haven't looked at it in quite awhile. I don't recall the size or exact condition, but it's worth a look.

    Contact you tomorrow.

I’ve put the bars off the cheap Repop flipper caps on the originals before
Had to drill new holes a little closer together but the fit was good and although the shape of the ends was a little different it worked out great

I have a couple flipper bars that I took off of caps I bought from Speedway motors. If you want them they are yours. Just message me your address and I will get them in the mail tomorrow.

Pewter will melt in a good toaster oven, don't tell Mom. An aluminum mold would work great. Can be easily polished.
